Discount retailer 99p Stores will now start stocking a padded bra, available in black, white and natural.  The bra boasts to be “silky, satin smooth” and is more than £8 less than the cheapest offering at Marks and Spencer’s.   The cheap bra will go on sale from Friday the 4^th November across all it’s stores.

The bra is made mostly from Polyester and features a cute little decorative bow on the front.  The stores are hoping that the budget bra – which is available in sizes 32-36C only (sorry to the larger busted ladies) – will match the success of its rather tiny and aptly named “itsy bitsy teenie weenie 99p bikini” which was launched in time for summer back in 2009; and in an even further attempt to set itself against all the luxury brands the retailer is rather cheekily going to open a store right next to Harvey Nichols!

Hussein Lalani, the boss of 99p Stores has said that the company has decided to launch the bra nationally after a very successful trial in selected stores.  “The response has been very good.  Obviously, due to the tough economic times everyone is looking to save money where ever they can and I guess this bra has hit the market at just the right time.” he continued “I am confident we have produced the best value bra in the country.”

Mr Lalani has also said the company, who already produce a range of lace knickers, are working on a design to match the bra.  “Who knows?  We might see the very first 99p lingerie set soon!”

The Triple Boost Bra claims to give the biggest cleavage enhancement on the high street, with the makers saying it can dramatically boost your womanly shape without having to go under the knife. The bra features three separate foam pads which push in different directions and result in a maximum impact shape.

The head of lingerie buying and design at Debenhams (where the range will be stocked), Sharon Webb said “More and more women are searching for a quick fix, low-cost way to boost their assets and change their shape. We are constantly seeing a demand for new and innovative solutions, the market has shown that people are wanting to enhance their bust without the cost or pain of surgery. This is basically a boob job in a bra.”

The bra will cost an affordable £22 and is available in a range of colours with sizes starting at 30A and up to a 38DD.

Personally I don’t think the black and white ads do anything for the lingerie – by “Naked Glamour” I wonder if these pieces are nude colours or if they are simply made to make you feel so comfortable you forget you’re wearing underwear – it would be nice to see straight off.
However the black and whites certainly make Lara Stone look amazing (although she always does) and really enhances her features… I completely envy her stomach!

This is a bit of a treat for all the lads (and ladies), Queen B in some rather see-through bridal underwear!

The singer’s new video for “Best Thing I Never Had” is about an old boyfriend who let her go, and has Beyonce getting “married” as part of the storyline.

The video sees B rolling around on a bed in sexy underwear including a white corset and suspenders, all the while singing about her lost love. Other scene’s have B giggling as her groom removes a garter with his teeth at their reception; and Beyonce looks every inch the beautiful blushing bride in a plunging, jewelled wedding gown.

Beyonce married American rapper Jay-Z in new York back in 2008 after dating, mostly in secret, for six years -- however I doubt the uber secretive couple would have snaps like these on display in their wedding album!

Best Thing I Never Had is Beyonce’s second single off her new album “4” which was released last month – I bet her ex is feeling just a little bit of a mug watching the video and remembering what he’s missing out on! Tough luck fella!

We already know that any piece of high street clothing seen on these two will sell out within minutes of being identified – but now, could Pippa and Kate be responsible for an influx of ladies buying something that was part of a rather unstylish trend? One writer said that this particular item is why neither of the Middleton sisters would ever be style icons… I’m talking about their penchant for flesh-coloured hosiery!!

Pippa and Kate are champion of the nude tight, but more recently the Duchess of Cambridge dared to don some almost invisible tights during her recent trip to the Epsom Derby; meanwhile Pippa has been seen wearing a high-shine version for a night out in Paris last month.

According to press, sales in nude tights have soared up by 85% within the past year – could this be a direct result of Middleton Mania? A few other suggested reasons for the increase in sales include fear of over-exposure of legs to the sun’s harmful rays and an attempt to bridge the awkward trans-seasonal gap between winter’s opaques and the bar legs of spring and summer.

Personally the only tights I wear are fishnets! I cannot stand “normal” tights – they’re like nails down a chalk board for me – but what do you think? Do you like nude tights or not?
