Ladies, how many of us need to buy new bra’s but then almost pass out at the sight of the price?  Well now we are all in luck!

Discount retailer 99p Stores will now start stocking a padded bra, available in black, white and natural.  The bra boasts to be “silky, satin smooth” and is more than £8 less than the cheapest offering at Marks and Spencer’s.   The cheap bra will go on sale from Friday the 4^th November across all it’s stores.

The bra is made mostly from Polyester and features a cute little decorative bow on the front.  The stores are hoping that the budget bra – which is available in sizes 32-36C only (sorry to the larger busted ladies) – will match the success of its rather tiny and aptly named “itsy bitsy teenie weenie 99p bikini” which was launched in time for summer back in 2009; and in an even further attempt to set itself against all the luxury brands the retailer is rather cheekily going to open a store right next to Harvey Nichols!

Hussein Lalani, the boss of 99p Stores has said that the company has decided to launch the bra nationally after a very successful trial in selected stores.  “The response has been very good.  Obviously, due to the tough economic times everyone is looking to save money where ever they can and I guess this bra has hit the market at just the right time.” he continued “I am confident we have produced the best value bra in the country.”

Mr Lalani has also said the company, who already produce a range of lace knickers, are working on a design to match the bra.  “Who knows?  We might see the very first 99p lingerie set soon!”
